Formerly known as the 'blue boat' (so dubed by my wife Briget), the official Signs By Chris vehicle, minus the roof rack, was entered in a demolition derby at East Bay Race Way on Saturday April 22, 2000 for all to witness its demise.
Professional driver, Brian Dalton, courageously drove into the fray against many other large, heavy older cars. Unfortunately, the race could not be won by sheer beauty alone, and car 38 did not win the race. However, due to Brian's clever moves the car remained remarkably intact and survived to race again. He was actually able to drive it away.
Signs By Chris thanks Brian for risking life, limb and his Saturday evening to race the car. We look forward to future races!
